Devastated man, 39, who found mum dead now homeless and living in Lidl car park

A man who found his mum dead is now homeless and living in a tent in a Lidl car park as the cold winter months approach.

Paul Hall, 39, said he has been forced to return to life on the streets since his mum died almost three months ago because he couldn't remain in her home.

The Hull man claims his possessions have been stolen while sleeping rough and his red tent leaks when it rains, forcing him to take shelter behind trolleys outside the discount supermarket.

Mr Hall, who has struggled with mental health issues and alcoholism, told HullLive that he would rather live on the streets than in a hostel, but he is worried about how he will fare during the winter.
