Builder Andy Hill to rescue homeless with £10m gift of 200 stackable houses

A millionaire property developer who once faced losing his own house is to provide 200 homes worth £10 million to help the homeless.

 

Andy Hill, founder of the Hill Group, will donate the buildings and contents. He will work with local authorities to find suitable land, and they and homeless charities will administer the properties and decide who will be housed and on what terms. The homes will come complete with everything from plates to pillowcases.
