A dream has finally turned into a reality for a charity for young homeless people - as it now has the keys to its first ever home.
It was a moment that Carol Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer at Doorway, thought would never happen - but now the Nuneaton-based charity has its ever ever house.
Now teens who find themselves on the streets or at risk of homelessness could be in the comfort of the new home, in Bucks Hill, before Christmas if all goes to plan.
The dream could not have been achieved without the help of former Nuneaton and Bedworth Mayor, councillor Chris Watkins, he dedicated his year in office to raising funds to help the charity get a home.
He assured the charity CEO it would happen and - two years later - it has.
