HEAD OF FINANCE

(Hybrid – 20 hours per week)

£38,000 - £42,000 a year - Permanent, Part-time

(Pro rata depending on experience)

Crawley Open House is an independent charity that runs a high support hostel and drop-in resource centre for homeless and disadvantaged people in the community. Linking our clients in with the available services around the town.

 

We are looking to recruit a Head of Finance to work closely with the CEO and Treasurer of the charity, also oversee and set tasks for the Finance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Ensure financial records are accurate and up to date

• Manage input to the annual audit

• Monitor income and expenditure

• Manage cash flow requirements and cash deposits

• Support the Fundraising Team by providing figures for grant applications

• Attend bi-monthly meetings and prepare reports

• Be experienced in Microsoft and Xero

• Practice a high level of confidentiality

• Applicants must have an empathy with our client group and the ability to work within the ethos of Crawley Open House.
