Santa Bus
The 2026 Santa Bus events will hit Crawley's streets from 9th to 12th December, and we are delighted to be a charity partner along with the wonderful St Catherine's Hospice.
Santa Claus is Comin’ to… Crawley
Imagine the scene… An open-topped double decker bus covered with twinkling lights, Christmas tunes merrily dancing out of the bus’s loudspeakers and Father Christmas and his elves waving from the top deck to the people lining the pavements below.
It’s nearly time for the annual Santa Bus event spectacularly run by Metro Bus. We are one of Santa Bus’s charity partners again and we hope to see you on the routes that criss cross Crawley from 9th to 12th December. It’s quite an occasion. Even a Scrooge couldn’t help but be touched by the excitement and happiness of the children – and adults - that come out to wave at Santa Claus.
Since its launch, Santa Bus has raised more than £13,000 for local charities. We are so grateful to be part of the event and for donations to Crawley Open House. Winter is such a tough time for the people we care for and money raised from Santa Bus will go straight to our frontline work helping people experiencing homelessness.
