Things we need

Food

Help us with the ingredients we require to provide 48,000 meals annually for our hostel residents, Resource Centre visitors, staff and people in the community in partnership with other agencies. As part of the Crawley Foodbank Partnership, we also give out up to 12 emergency food parcels every day to those in food crisis and 75% of all the food we distribute has been donated.

Things we are always short of...

  • Small bottles of water
  • Tinned meat and fish
  • Long-life milk
  • Sugar
  • Cereal
  • Coffee and tea bags
  • Jars of cooking sauce and pasta sauce
  • Instant noodles
  • Jam, marmalade, peanut butter and honey
  • Tinned potatoes and vegetables
  • Cooking oil
  • Tins of beans and spaghetti
  • Tinned soup
  • Custard and rice pudding
  • Tinned fruit
  • Biscuits, chocolate and sweets

We can’t currently have ginger at Crawley Open House because of the risk of adverse allergic reactions. Thank you.

We especially welcome new underwear for men and women and clean and in good condition

  • adult clothing, especially jogging bottoms, jeans, trainers, sweatshirts, new or clean socks
  • pillows, single bed sheets and duvet sets, blankets and sleeping bags
  • deodorant and liquid soap

Raffle Prizes

We hold several raffles a year and they are a good source of income for the charity. Can you help by donating a raffle prize? Perhaps a voucher from a local shop, tickets for a day out or something that looks so good on the raffle table it has everyone queuing up to buy a ticket?
