A Cornwall councillor has been condemned for "misinformed, disgusting nonsense" after saying homeless people just "grow cannabis".
Sharon Daw, Conservative councillor for the Lynher division in south east Cornwall, wrote "even if you help them they end up running up huge electric bills growing cannabis" in response to emergency measures to house homeless families and those who find themselves in dire need of temporary accommodation
